Extended Deadline: A New Year Invitation. Send a proposal by the 5th January 2015 for Resilience

We have had a few requests for a little more time to finalise proposals for our meeting next year.

In the interest of sanity during a week where many assessments are being conducted and REF notifications are due we are moving the submission date for proposals to the 5th January 2015.  Reminder information can be found below.

                   Resilience: Articulating Dance ‘Knowledges’in the C21st.

                   9th April, 2015 hosted by De Montfort University.

Resilience is FREE to attend for DanceHE MEMBERS.

Attendance is £20 for the event for NON-MEMBERS.

Where possible costs are kept to a minimum, the attendance fee is to cover the costs of catering for the day.

This one-day event for DanceHE members, researchers, artists and collaborative partners, provides an opportunity to identify ways we can continue to thrive in the UK higher education sector.  The day will include presentations from Jonathan Burrows and Samuel Ladkin exploring ways we might rethink the notions of ‘value’ and ‘impact’ in terms of the significant experiences found in dance that contribute to composing a life.

Expressions of interest are invited from individuals and/or groups who w to contribute to the day.  Contributions may be in the form of shared panels (30mins), solo or shared provocations (10mins), paper presentations (20mins), contribution to a ‘light lunch-Pecha Kucha’ (6mins) or a workshop (1hour).
