Senior Lecturer Dance Position – Buckinghamshire New University

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good level of previous Higher Education teaching experience, and should be able to teach into two or more of the following areas; Choreography, Dance Teaching Pedagogy, Jazz Dance Technique, Community Dance, Dance Psychology, Ballroom and Latin American Technique. You will also be expected to contribute to dissertation project supervision, along with other aspects of student support, administration, rehearsals, and auditions.

Candidates will already hold a first degree and a postgraduate degree in related disciplines. A PHD qualification or a willingness to work towards this qualification is also desirable.

This is a senior lecturer appointment and as such, candidates will also be expected to take on other team leadership responsibilities in areas such as curriculum development, course leadership and recruitment activity.
