A Workshop with Gecko hosted by Shapes in Motion
Friday 8th December 2017, 6.30-9.30pm at Sadler’s Wells
This introductory workshop will give participants the chance to experience Gecko’s unique style of movement and physical theatre, as well as an opportunity to gain an insight into the creative processes Gecko’s devising performers go through when creating a show. The session will include preparation exercises and tasks that focus on creating movement for performance. Gecko uses breath to explore emotions and their workshops are always highly physical and dynamic.
Led by one of Gecko’s devising performers: Katie Lusby (The Wedding and The Time of Your Life)
Participants should wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing suitable for a physical workshop. No shoes, jewellery or trainers. Participants should also bring plenty of water with them.
