PhD Student Seeking Information – Teaching deaf children dance

I am a PhD student at Middlesex University (London, UK), looking for help with a PhD project titled An investigation into the support that deaf children receive in Primary school dance classes according to the educational acts and policies of England.

As part of my PhD project, I would like to:

  1. A) interview dance teachers who teach/have taught deaf children in Primary schools; and/or
  2. B) observe curricular dance classes including deaf children in Primary schools

The types of class and schools needed for this project are as follows:

  1. A) deaf inclusive or deaf special dance classes
  2. B) mainstream or special Primary schools for deaf children in England

If you could share your experience and expertise about teaching deaf children dance, or indeed have access to any resources that might be relevant to the topic (e.g. schemes of work, teaching materials, school policy documents etc.), I would be very grateful.
