Meeting on A Level Reform

As you may be aware A levels are being reformed to ensure they are robust, rigorous and equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge for higher education. Ministers therefore are keen to ensure the views of universities are reflected in the development of new A levels.

We would like to invite you to a subject workshop on Dance on Friday 21 March. This will be an opportunity for you to share your views on the current A level and where it can be improved. We are facilitating these workshops and they will be attended by Awarding Organisations and Ofqual. The outputs from the event will be used to help inform the development of new A level subject content and assessment.

The venue and timings for this meeting are as follows:

Time: 10.00 – 13.00

Venue: Department for Education,
Sanctuary Buildings,
Great Smith Street,
SW1P 3BT

I would be grateful if you could confirm your attendance by 1pm Wednesday 19 March.

If you are unable to attend this workshop but would still be interested in inputting into the reform process please let me know and we may ask you for your feedback in the form of a short questionnaire.

We are keen to engage with as many members of the HE community as possible, I would therefore be grateful if you could forward this invitation to any colleagues who may be interested in attending this workshop and/ or inputting into the reform process.

Please do get in touch if you have any questions.

Kind Regards,

Serena Collins
