Talking Walking – 5 year walking forecast – Prof Deirdre Heddon creator of the Walking Library / Interview with Susan Trangmar – a forest of signs

One podcast published today one available on Saturday!

“What’s your prediction for walking in the next five years?” is the question we have put to a dozen thought leaders from the around the world of walking.  We are publishing their responses each Wednesday from now to Christmas as free to download podcasts on the Talking Walking website. We asked respondents to leave a voice mail message so we could record and publish their forecasts.

Wednesday 6 November it’s the turn of Professor Deirdre Heddon, from the University of Glasgow’s School of Culture & Creative Arts and creator of the Walking Library to have her forecast published:

Saturday 9 November we will be publishing an interview with Susan Trangmar, artist and tutor in Fine Art at Central St Martins School of Art & Design, now part of the University of Arts, London. Susan is a visual artist working in the context of landscape, place and site and in particular the evolving relationships between material formations of ‘nature’ and ‘culture’.

This initiative is part of Talking Walking’s 5th anniversary celebrations.
