About the role

Providing hands-on dynamic leadership for a range of performance and creative modules in dance, you’ll strengthen the department’s profile – regionally, nationally and internationally – and build on its reputation for pedagogical innovation through the sharing of your practical and research expertise. You’ll also work effectively and collaboratively to ensure the integration of dance within the wider work of the School.

About you (requirements)

 You will have excellent professional dance experience that is supported by research. Your profile will combine strong practical skills that will enable you to deliver dynamic and engaging technical and creative training. You will demonstrate excellent pedagogical innovation, especially in the area of graduate employability and will have a strong understanding of current industry practices to support this.

You will have substantial experience of HE teaching, processes and management and a demonstrable interest in quality enhancement. You will be adept at e-learning and online assessment. With a clear commitment to a student-centred teaching and learning environment, your organisational and communication skills will be second to none. You will have innovative ideas about course marketing, student recruitment and budgetary management.
