Dawns i Bawb is an exciting and vibrant community  and development dance organisation. This role presents an ideal opportunity to be a part of shaping the future – for Dawns i Bawb and for dance in the region.

Dawns i Bawb is a small, vibrant Development and Community dance organisation based in rural North Wales with big ideas.

Dawns i Bawb believes that everyone can dance and works with people of all ages and abilities, including disadvantaged groups and those living in isolated areas, giving them an opportunity to take part in a range of dance activities.

Our strands of activities include working on large-scale productions involving hundreds of participants and thousands of audiences, as well as with small groups of a few individuals.  Always with the same care and passion. Because clearly one size definitely does not fit all.

Recent collaborations with international high profile artists (Marc Rees / Wales, Tiago Guedes and Filipa Francisco / Portugal, Ely Kim / USA, Alma Söderberg & Angela Peris Alcantud / Sweden & Holland); demonstrate that Dawns i Bawb sees itself not only as a regional provider but also as part of a network with international connections.

Questioning, experimenting, daring, challenging, and caring, all these elements are at the core of our work and have generated significant changes making Dawns i Bawb a unique model in Wales.

We are looking for a new inspirational and visionary leader to continue driving forward the organisation and be a part of shaping the future – for Dawns i Bawb and for dance in the region. You should have a good knowledge of Wales, The UK and international community dance, and more general dance sector, a strong network and experience of partnership working as well as being a creative thinker who can turn ideas into action and inspire others. You will have at least five years experience of working in the arts at senior level and of leading and motivating others.

We will consider a job share so candidates can apply for Artistic Director or CEO only.

Closing date for applications is:   01.03.2016, 5pm

Interviews will take place on 09.03.2015
